The Tennessee Titans need another starter at an offensive tackle spot. Andre Dillard will surely be one OT starter after signing a deal with a nice paycheck.

Could Tennessee attack that need in the first round of this year's draft?

It is a strong possibility, depending on the board at pick eleven if they stay there.

In a recent 2023 NFL Mock Draft by Nick Baumgardner at The Athletic, the Tennessee Titans selected Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones.

That isn't surprising. Jones has been a consistent selection for the Titans, alongside a couple of other OT prospects.

The nerve-racking part for the Titans and their fans would be the lead-up to this selection in this scenario.

The other top two tackles alongside Jones went in two of the three picks before their selection.

The Philadelphia Eagles could have selected Jones at pick number ten or had a team trade to that spot to secure him. Luckily, that didn't occur, and the Titans got a new starter for their RT spot.

Jones redshirted his first season with the Bulldogs, playing in two games as a reserve. Jones played behind Jamaree Salyer at left tackle for the first 11 games of Georgia's nation title-winning season in 2021 but started at left tackle in the final four contests to help the team hoist the trophy, earning a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team for his efforts.

If Jones had also gone off the board before their pick, the Titans surely would have pivoted to wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba from Ohio State.

This scenario definitely has a possibility of occurring on draft night, so the Titans must be prepared in case they have to move up a spot or two to secure their guy.

That is, if the Titans don't make a massive jump into the top five for a quarterback. That's on the table, too. It could get extremely exciting for the Titans and their fans on draft night.
