The 2025 NFL Draft is one week away! Plenty of teams have made major free agency moves or notable trades to affect their draft needs. Coaching changes, veteran player decisions, and other pieces to the offseason have all shaken up how orgs are planning for their rookie class.
Myself and my A to Z Sports colleague Rob Gregson ran through a two-round NFL mock draft scenario once again this week.
Trades included. A big move for a QB. Receivers go crazy in round two. Check out all of it below.
2025 2-Round NFL Mock Draft
Round One
1) Tennessee Titans: Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
No shockers here. His Fortnite session earlier this week spilled the beans here. Ward is headed to Nashville.
2) Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
If the Browns are taking a quarterback, it would be a surprise to many at this point. I’m not sold that Myles Garrett re-signed on the idea that Joe Flacco or Kenny Pickett would be his starter, but for the time being, taking the best player in the class is where Cleveland should go. — Gregson
3) New York Giants: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
New York bolsters a strong defensive line with one of the top two overall prospects in the entire prospect class. In turn, they also pass on taking a QB this early.
4) New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
No need to overthink things here for New England. Take the best lineman in the class and continue to build around Drake Maye. — Gregson
5) Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
This is a boring pick, but it also just makes the most sense. Graham would have a year one impact for Jacksonville.
6) Las Vegas Raiders: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
I know you expected Ashton Jeanty. And yes, Tom Brady might be running the show now, but the Raiders see a tall and fast WR, and they have no other choice. Not to mention, they actually need some talent on their perimeter. — Gregson
7) New York Jets: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Feels like the Jets will want to address the OL or at pass catcher. Membou continues to rise and jumps all the way to seventh overall.
8) Carolina Panthers: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Carolina drafts their feature back and adds another weapon for Bryce Young, who showed that he’s a winning player down the stretch of the 2024 season. Suddenly, Carolina’s offense is intriguing after this move. — Gregson
9) New Orleans Saints: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
New Orleans takes after the Giants and pass on Shedeur Sanders here, hoping they can make a move later on to grab a young quarterback option. Warren is sharply on Kellen Moore's radar right now.
10) Chicago Bears: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
I know there are some size concerns with Walker, but he’s dynamite off the EDGE, and after addressing the offensive line in free agency, Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles go to the other side of the trenches to stabilize Chicago’s foundation. — Gregson
11) San Francisco 49ers: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Think Williams is going to go earlier than most folks believe right now, and this would prove it. SF needs defensive line help in general, particularly off the edge opposite Nick Bosa.
12) Dallas Cowboys: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Dallas could go a few different routes here, but their needs on both perimeters seem pressing. Tet McMillan would be intriguing alongside CeeDee Lamb, but solidifying the CB position is the way to go, and the Texas Lomghorn can stay in-state. — Gregson
13) Miami Dolphins: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
With the Jalen Ramsey trade discussion, cornerback feels much more possible than it felt two weeks ago. Johnson is one of the most gifted prospects in this class when healthy.
14) Pittsburgh Steelers (via Colts): Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
TRADE: Steelers receive pick 14, Colts receive picks 21, 83, 2026 3rd rounder
The Steelers can sit on their hands and swing their feet and wait on Aaron Rodgers all they want, but if he’s not in the building by next week and Shedeur Sanders falls out of the top 10, Pittsburgh will have to consider trading up to select their future franchise signal caller.

15) Atlanta Falcons: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Adding a pass rusher is boring, but needed, for ATL. Green is an intriguing athlete who dominated at his level of competition during his college days. He would play a role off the edge as a rookie for the Falcons.
16) Arizona Cardinals: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Cardinals just used premium capital on Marvin Harrison Jr. last year, but pairing him with McMillan is too enticing to pass on her for Arizona, even if they have more pressing needs on their roster. — Gregson
17) Cincinnati Bengals: Derrick Harmon, IDL, Oregon
Cincy grabs a fierce pass rusher on the interior. I've really liked this fit for weeks now, and the Bengals should have Harmon on their radar next Thursday night.
18) Seattle Seahawks: Kelvin Banks, OL, Texas
Seattle may want to give their tackle duo another season together, but you can always move someone into guard, and Banks offers too much upside to watch go by if you're the Seahawks. — Gregson
19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Feels like the floor for Campbell here. The Bucs need another potential starter at linebacker, and they have very little current plan for when Lavonte David retires at the position.
20) Denver Broncos: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Sean Payton wants his joker, and he needs a TE on his roster who can create mismatches and help him employ the scheme he has run for years. Loveland offers exactly that for Payton and the Broncos' offense. — Gregson
21) Indianapolis Colts (via Steelers): Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
TRADE: Steelers receive pick 14, Colts receive picks 21, 83, 2026 3rd rounder
Indy picks up some day two compensation in order to move back with Pittsburgh. They still land arguably the best safety in the class as well.
22) Los Angeles Chargers: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Chargers need to address EDGE after the departure of Joey Bosa and Shemar Stewart offers the type of pass rush profile that Jim Harbaugh has molded through his coaching career, making him a great fit for the Chargers. — Gregson
23) Kansas City Chiefs (via Packers): Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
TRADE: Chiefs receive pick 23, Packers receive picks 31 and 95.
KC makes a jump to secure a potential starting offensive tackle. Simmons is incredibly talented and is major value here as long as his medicals check out.
24) Minnesota Vikings: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
The Vikings want to beef up their interior, and they do it here via Grant. He might not be as can’t-miss as Mason Graham, but he’s not that far off as a prospect and would be excellent value for Minnesota. — Gregson
25) Houston Texans: Grey Zabel, IOL, North Dakota State
Houston needs help along their offensive line, one way or another. Zabel could step into a starting role as a rookie in front of C.J. Stroud.
26) Los Angeles Rams: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
The Rams might have just worked things out with Matthew Stafford, but the yearly offseason song and dance that is debating his NFL future is likely starting to get old for Sean McVay and Les Snead. Dart is the kind of player that McVay can develop into his franchise quarterback as he sits and learns behind Stafford. — Gregson
27) Baltimore Ravens: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Ravens need more juice off the edge after some mild misses in the draft on their DL in recent years. Pearce is an incredible athlete with legit college production.
28) Detroit Lions: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
It’s unlikely that Egbuka actually makes it this far, but if he does, you might as well stamp him to Detriot. He’s the exact kind of player that fits Detroit’s culture, and with him at Z, Jameson Williams at the X, and St. Brown in the slot, Detroit might have the best WR trio in the league. — Gregson
29) Washington Commanders: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Coined "EZ E", the pass rusher is the perfect sort of defender for Dan Quinn. He works his tail off consistently on film and produced at a high level as far as pass rush.
30) Buffalo Bills: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
Revel Jr. is the pick that makes the most sense for Buffalo, who needs to find a CB opposite of the recently extended Christian Benford. Revel’s traits and length make him a very intriguing player in that Buffalo secondary. — Gregson
31) Green Bay Packers (via Chiefs): Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
TRADE: Chiefs receive pick 23, Packers receive picks 31 and 95.
The Packers may or may not move veteran CB Jaire Alexander. Regardless, getting another outside cornerback option needs to be on their mind on either day one or two. Amos continues to climb.
32) Philadelphia Eagles: Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss
What’s more Eagles than drafting a talented interior defensive lineman who slid farther than he should, based on his tape? Philly can continue to add to their rotation and cement their line after the departure of Milton Williams. — Gregson

As for round two, we alternated two picks at a time in that pattern. I began the round picking for Cleveland and New York.
