Now that Milton Williams is in the AFC East, he will have to face off against one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, twice every season.
Josh Allen is a very tough quarterback to defend, known for his ability to throw along with his athleticism that allows him to extend plays with his legs. And Williams is already being prepped on what to expect.
"I haven't gotten to play him yet, but since I got here, just talking with (Christian) Barmore, he was like, 'Yeah, Josh Allen's probably the hardest quarterback that I've had to bring down.' Just big, fast," Williams said on the Green Light Podcast with Chris Long. "He kind of reminds me of Cam Newton. I compare him to Cam Newton just being that big, being that mobile, having such a big arm, making any throw. "So, it's going to be a challenge but I'm up for it."
During Williams' four seasons with the Eagles, they only faced Buffalo once and that was one of the only games the defensive end had to miss after being diagnosed with a concussion.
So, he hasn't faced off against Allen. But, the Bills quarterback also hasn't seen what Williams is capable of.
It's going to be a fun matchup to watch twice a season now!
