The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking for their next Mekhi Becton when the 2025 NFL Draft gets here next week.

This year's draft class is said to run deep with offensive guards, though the exceptional ones will naturally go off the board first.

That's why A to Z Sports' draft analysts Adam Holt and Rob Gregson have the Eagles addressing the need first in their latest 2025 two-round NFL mock draft.

Holt and Gregson have Alabama guard Tyler Booker going to the Birds on Day 1 at No. 32 overall:

32) Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
A stalwart for the Crimson Tide. Booker is highly regarded by his alma mater's staff and would slot in as a possible Mekhi Becton replacement in Philadelphia. Another rock solid pick by the Eagles at the tail end of round one.

Booker was a highly sought-after four-star recruit out of high school, ranking as the No. 39 overall prospect in his class. He chose the Crimson Tide over offers from other powerhouse programs like Georgia, Florida, Oregon, and Ohio State

It didn't take long for Booker to make an impact at Alabama. As a freshman in 2022, Booker played in 12 games, making one start. By his sophomore year in 2023, he had started 12 games, allowing just two sacks and four pressures throughout the year, earning him second-team All-SEC honors.

As team captain in 2024, Booker allowed only half a sack over 770 snaps en route to securing first-team All-American and All-SEC selections.

Heading into the draft, Booker has been praised by many for his physicality, leadership, and consistency.

He is widely projected as a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with several analysts putting him much higher than No. 32 overall. However, if Booker happens to be there when the Eagles pick last on Day 1, they would be crazy to let him get away.
