Less than one week until the 2025 NFL Draft makes it the perfect time for a new Buffalo Bills mock draft.

The Bills' top needs are at cornerback, wide receiver, and defensive tackle, but they also need a running back as negotiations with James Cook haven't been going well

So, without further ado, here it is.

Buffalo Bills 7 Round NFL Mock Draft

30. Florida State CB Azareye'h Thomas

Cornerback remains a big need for the Bills, and while they brought back TreDavious White on a one-year contract worth up to $6.8 million, they need to go beyond the 2025 season. Addressing that early in the draft would provide one of the top cornerback prospects with the opportunity to work with a talented veteran and become a star for the franchise. Thomas is very athletic and has good ball skills. He is very effective in the run and pass game, and has the physicality to match.

56. Utah State WR Jalen Royals

There are no such things as having too many talented wide receivers, and the Bills could look to add another weapon for quarterback Josh Allen. Royals can play in the slot or outside, providing some versatility opposite the players already in the building in Buffalo. He brings speed and route-running ability to open up the deep and intermediate passing game for the Bills.

62. Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo

The Bills currently have five running backs on the roster. Still, there is a big question with their top threat. James Cook's contract dispute could play a factor this season, and if that's the case, bringing in a young and athletic running back with a good receiving skill set is not a bad idea.

109. Kentucky DT Deone Walker

Another huge need for Buffalo is a run-stuffing defensive tackle. The Bills have Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones, but bringing in someone young with upside, such as Deone Walker, could prove promising. He has some health concerns, but bringing him on slowly could allow him to develop alongside these veterans.

132. Iowa S Sebastian Castro

With Sebastian Castro, the Bills get a versatile and physical player who is solid at stopping opposing team's run games. In 2024, he had 57 Tackles, three TFLs, one interception, two forced fumbles, and two pass breakups across 12 games.

169. Sacramento State OL Jackson Slater

Jackson Slater is a three-time All-American and All-Big Sky, so it's a solid choice if he's still available when the Bills are up with the 169th overall pick. He seems like the perfect type to develop on the interior in Buffalo.

170. Notre Dame TE Mitchell Evans

The Buffalo Bills currently have three tight ends on the roster, but drafting another in the later rounds allows them to add depth. Evans isn't the most athletic, but has a penchant for making some big plays in the passing and blocking game.

173. Kansas OT Logan Brown

While the Bills have two starting tackles in Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown, depth is the key with this pick. Brown ensures that they'll have a swing tackle in place should one of those two players suffer an injury for an extended period.

177. Oregon LB Jeffrey Bassa

Jeffrey Bassa has experience at the safety position before he moved to linebacker. So, he has proven effective in pass coverage, but he isn't quite as good in the run game just given his size. The NFL is moving toward lighter and faster linebackers, though.

206. Western Kentucky CB Upton Stout

Considering the big need at cornerback, taking another in the later rounds is always a good call. Stout is a physical run defender who can play inside at the next level and would make for good depth in the slot.
