The Tennessee Vols are reportedly viewed as one of the biggest threats to flip a talented 2026 four-star recruit from an SEC conference rival.
On3's Steve Wiltfong pointed out Tennessee this week as one of the "biggest threats" to flip 2026 four-star edge rusher Hezekiah Harris from the Auburn Tigers.
Harris has been committed to Auburn since last July.
"Tennessee remains one of the biggest threats if not the favorite to flip Huntsville (Ala.) Jemison On300 edge rusher Hezekiah Harris," noted Wiltfong. "Levorn Harbin has been leading the charge and put UT in good position."
Harris, 6-foot-5/220 lbs, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 12 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 7 player in the state of Alabama. He's also rated as the No. 94 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
The four-star recruit took an unofficial visit to Tennessee in April, and he's set to take an official visit to Rocky Top on June 20.
Tennessee will actually get Harris' final official visit, which could give the Vols an edge in this recruiting battle.
One thing that's working against Tennessee in this battle is the fact that Harris' brother, Malachi, transferred from Austin Peay to Auburn earlier this spring.
Malachi could easily transfer again before Hezekiah is on campus next winter, so this isn't a permanent roadblock for the Vols. But it's still something that's currently not working in Tennessee's favor.
Florida is also in the mix for Hezekiah Harris.
