Saturday couldn't have gone much worse for the Tennessee Vols.

Tennessee was looking for some revenge against Vanderbilt in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament after losing two of three to the Commodores in Lindsey Nelson Stadium earlier season.

Instead, the Vols are heading back to Knoxville after suffering a 10-0 loss in seven innings to Vandy on Saturday in Hoover.

After the game, Vanderbilt infielder Riley Nelson was asked if it was especially satisfying to run rule the Vols in an SEC Tournament game.

"It's awesome," said Nelson. "We don't like those guys, they don't like us. I think it's the best rivalry in college baseball right now. If you're a young kid getting recruited by both of these schools, I think you know which school you should choose."

Ouch.

Vanderbilt is in position to talk some trash about the Vols because they've dominated Tennessee this season.

But despite the fact that Vandy has Tennessee's number this season, I'm sure the Vols are hoping they get another shot at the Commodores this season (in either a Super Regional or in Omaha).
