Dan Hurley caught on video taking a shot at NCAA officiating following UConn’s loss to Florida in the Round of 32

It didn't come easy on Sunday afternoon against the UConn Huskies for the Florida Gators, but they pulled out a 77-75 win to advance to their 12th Sweet 16 and first one since 2017. It's also just the second win the Gators have earned against the Huskies and the first one since the Sweet 16 in 1994.
The game was a back-and-forth affair with the Huskies holding onto the lead until late in the game when All-American point guard Walter Clayton Jr. took over late in the game with a three to put the Gators up six and they didn't look back from there.
Dan Hurley takes shot at officials after crushing loss
The game wasn't without controversy. There were some instances that left fans and coaches alike shaking their heads.
After the game, Huskies head coach Dan Hurley made his opinions on the matter known, talking to Baylor while heading into the back about how he hopes the referees don't screw them like he thought the Huskies were.
Let's take a step back here and parse things out.
The Huskies held the lead for the majority of the game until Clayton hit a three point shot with 2:54 left in the game and the Huskies never regained the lead with the Gators getting the lead as high as eight points in the final minutes. Their biggest flaws down the stretch weren't due to the officiating, but rather their own mistakes.
When it came to free throws, the Gators struggled all game, missing 12 of their 34 free throws. The Huskies couldn't secure rebounds late in the game, including one where Alijah Martin got the loose ball and slammed it home to put the Gators up eight, essentially ending the game.
Yes, the Gators had 12 more free throws and four less fouls called on them (17 to the Huskies 21), but to say the referees were one-sided on the day doesn't come across any way other than whining.
On the other sideline, Gators head coach Todd Golden came across as completely different with the entire team joining his postgame interview.
The Gators now move onto San Francisco and will take on the winner of Colorado State and Maryland in the Sweet 16 whereas the Huskies are facing a rebuild where they won't have to worry about getting an extra foul or two than their opponent.
The kicker to all of this? Hurley spoke with Tracy Wolfson after the game saying they went out with honor. You sure about that?
