Florida State really struggled on offense last year. Well, let's just be frank here — they struggled in every aspect of their game, hence the 2-10 finish. They had their worst season since the mid-70s, and having two seasons in a row like that just cannot happen. 2025 has to be a big improvement for the Noles. If not, there's a chance we see the program move on from Mike Norvell.

Let's just start with the most important thing for this program — building in the trenches. The ACC isn't like the SEC or Big 10 when it comes to physicality. And, when and if they ever make the playoffs, they will run into SEC and Big 10 teams that will just dominate them in the trenches. Building up the offensive line is going to be key.

Luckily for the Seminoles, they have five offensive linemen coming in their 2025 freshman class and are already recruiting OL for 2026, including one of the most coveted guys in the class that happened to put the Boles in his top 10.

Seminoles land in top ten for Sam Roseborough

Sam Roseborough is a four-star offensive lineman from Clearwater High School in Florida, part of the 2026 class. At 6'5" and 285 pounds, he's ranked as a top-45 recruit nationally, known for his size, agility, and technical skills on the field.

He's attracted offers from elite college football teams, including Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Florida State, Texas, Michigan, Texas A&M, and Penn State.

His recent visit to Florida State resulted in a scholarship offer. Florida and Florida State seem to have an edge in their recruitment, thanks to their location and strong offensive line programs.

Beyond football, Sam values the relationships he's forming with coaches, particularly noting his connection with Mike Norvell. So, the Noles are heading in the right direction.
