2024 is a season the New York Giants will want to forget.
They had to watch a franchise great, Saquon Barkley, leave in free agency ahead of the season and join a divisional rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Barkley then went on to have the best season of his career, setting new career highs with 2,005 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.
He has now been named the 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year and played a pivotal role in helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX. And through it all, Barkley still has a lot of love for the Giants and his time in New York. What makes losing a player like Barkley even worse is the type of person he is. Seeing him take the time during the Eagles Super Bowl parade to show kindness to the crowd proves this even more. From taking pictures with young fans to creating memories, they will never forget him recognizing an Eagles ball boy and bringing him over the fence to participate in the parade with the team. This nightmare for the Giants won't be going away anytime soon, and at the end of the day, they don't have anyone to blame but themselves for letting a player and person like Saquon walk out the door.

The main topic surrounding the New York Giants this offseason is who will be their quarterback in 2025. Their late-season win over the Indianapolis Colts dropped them out of the top pick in the draft. They now own the third pick and are in danger of missing out on the top two QBs, Cam Ward […]
