The highest individual honor a player can receive for his play on the field is to be named a first-team All-Pro selection.
The latest iteration of those teams was released on Friday, and multiple Pittsburgh Steelers made the cut.
But none are more impressive or mean more than the selection of Cam Heyward to this year's first-team All-Pro defense…
Steelers have three make All-Pro teams
Multiple Steelers players earned one of the NFL's highest honors when they were selected to the Associated Press All-Pro team today.
Steelers kicker Chris Boswell and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward were named First-Team AP All-Pro, while linebacker T.J. Watt was named Second-Team AP All-Pro.
Boswell, who was also selected to the NFLPA Players' All-Pro team and the Pro Bowl Games, was voted to the AP All-Pro team for the first time in his career.

For Heyward, it's his fourth first-team All-Pro selection and seventh Pro Bowl nod. That alone is impressive, but he added his latest at the age of 35, and not even a year removed from an injury that cost him close to half the season and required multiple surgeries.
Because of that, the Steelers were hesitant to extend him in the offseason, and Heyward even missed OTAs as a barging chip to get the money he obviously deserved.
And it's safe to say the Steelers would do that deal again, 10 times over.
"Cam's a heck of a player," said T.J. Watt. "No surprises out of all of us in this locker room because I've seen how much he's worked since I walked in the door here, and I think he's having a heck of a season.
"…It seems like he's like wine and he gets better with age."
As for Boswell, he went 41 of 44 this season on field goals and was often times the best (or in the case of the Baltimore Ravens win) the only scorer on the Steelers' offense.
"What can you say about Chris Boswell in 2024 that hadn't been written or said," said Coach Mike Tomlin. "He's been everything that we need him to be. He is performing at an extremely high level and we're extremely comfortable in calling upon him in just about any circumstances. It's just been special.
"…And to do what he's done, obviously with a change at holder in the middle of the thing, is doubly impressive."
