The true freshman wide receiver put the entire country on notice once again in the first half of the Buckeyes' thrashing of the Ducks.
Jeremiah Smith
Smith drew comparisons to Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, and plenty of special wideouts during his dominant performance.
Every time you looked up, the young WR was open. On multiple occasions, Oregon challenged Smith with man coverage. He responded to that with five catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of play.
Florida Gators QB D.J. Lagway chimed in on Smith, too.

"And when we see man [coverage] against any of our receivers, we're going to take a shot down the field. So I'm just letting everybody know right now that if you play man Wednesday, we are taking a shot." — Smith
We will see if Smith can break some record in the second half of play.
Multiple will be in play, but with the blowout currently pending, it will also be intriguing to see how much they throw the football to Smith. You do not want to risk any sort of injury to the stud wideout, considering the semi-finals loom for Ohio State.
