The Tennessee Vols are reportedly going to receive a visit from one of the top 2026 offensive linemen in the nation later this month.
According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, 2026 four-star offensive lineman Grant Wise will visit Tennessee for the program's junior day in late January. Wiltfong also detailed several other visits that Wise has lined up in the coming weeks.
Wise, 6-foot-3/310 lbs from Milton, FL, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 13 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 32 player in the state of Florida. He's also rated as the No. 197 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
The talented offensive lineman previously took a visit to Tennessee for the Vols' win against Alabama this past season.
Clemson and Oregon are currently viewed as the favorites to land Wise, though that could certainly change after these upcoming visits.
Tennessee Vols among top 10 schools for elite 2026 offensive tackle
Tennessee is also in the mix for 2026 four-star offensive tackle John Turntine.
Turntine, who will likely be elevated to a five-star recruit in the not-too-distant future, included Tennessee among his top 10 schools this week, along with Michigan, Ohio State, Texas, Stanford, Georgia, Oregon, Texas A&M, Missouri, and SMU.
Turntine, 6-foot-4/275 lbs from Fort Worth, TX, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Texas. He's also rated as the No. 12 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
Texas is viewed as the team to beat for Turntine, though the Vols will take a swing at the elite recruit and hope that they can convince him to eschew his home state for the Volunteer state.
