Former Tennessee Vols defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins reportedly has a new home in college football.

According to 247Sports' Matt Zenitz, Jenkins is transferring to Florida State.

Jenkins, a former three-star recruit from New Jersey, entered the NCAA transfer portal last month after spending the first three seasons of his career at Tennessee (he has two seasons of eligibility remaining).

Jenkins totaled 20 tackles, five tackles for loss, and two sacks during his career at Tennessee. He also forced a fumble in the Vols' win against Mississippi State this past season.

Tennessee transfer wide receiver Squirrel White, who was teammates with Jenkins for three seasons at UT, also took a visit to Florida State this weekend.

Jenkins was a solid player for the Vols. His decision to leave Knoxville for Tallahassee certainly hurts Tennessee's defensive line depth.
