An elite 2026 four-star Georgia Bulldogs recruiting target made quite the statement this week about the atmosphere that he experienced when he visited Athens for a game this past season.
2026 four-star edge rusher Khamari Brooks was in Sanford Stadium in November for the Bulldogs' 31-17 win against the Tennessee Vols.
Brooks, who also made visits to Alabama and LSU for games in 2024, said that the atmosphere in Athens was "probably the loudest" that he's experienced.
“The atmosphere at the Tennessee night game was probably one of the loudest, if not the loudest, I’ve been to all year," said Brooks to On3. "That atmosphere was great during the blackout game. In a good game like that, they came out, won that game and dominated.”
Brooks, 6-foot-4/220 lbs from Bogart, GA, is rated by On3 as the No. 13 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 15 player in the state of Georgia. He's also rated as the No. 125 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
The coveted recruit is planning to return to Georgia for a visit on January 18.
Alabama and Clemson are also in the mix to land Brooks, who said late last year that he plans to commit before the start of his senior season.
Georgia currently has four commits to its 2026 recruiting class.
