The Baltimore Ravens had a great regular season and will most likely see Lamar Jackson win his third MVP award, but they again fell short in the playoffs.
Now it's back to the drawing board as they attempt to figure out what has to be done to finally get over the hump and make it out of the AFC. They could target a few key positions this offseason, but a new A to Z sports mock draft has them landing a player who might fix a hole they've been trying for years to fill.
Ravens land Texas WR Matthew Golden in a new 2025 NFL mock draft

"The Ravens have tried multiple different WRs with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman over the last two years, but none of them have worked out. Texas' Matthew Golden is expected to be a riser in this year's class once he shows what he can do at the NFL Scouting Combine, so him cementing himself as a first-round pick wouldn't shock me at all."
– New A to Z Sports mock draft
The Ravens have been trying to build a full-starting wide receiver group for quite some time. They seem to have two of the three spots in stone now, with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman both being in the team's future. They have tried a couple of different other players with them, such as Dionte Johnson and Odell Beckham Jr., but no one has been more than a bandaid fix. Going out and landing Texas' Matthew Golden could finally give them three reliable WRs for Jackson and the Ravens' passing game.
It would also give them three WRs that are interchangeable between roles. All three can play on the outside as well as in the slot. However, if they went this route, I think Flowers would mainly get to work out of the slot going forward. If the Ravens elect to move off of Mark Andrews this offseason, tight end could also be in play for this pick. But the TE class is so much deeper than the WR class this year, so If I were them, I'd probably go WR in the first if there's a guy they like enough and look at TE on day two to pair with Isaiah Likely. However they choose to do it, giving Jackson more weapons won't be frowned upon by anyone.
