It's that time of year again.

Media members, players, and NFL personnel are flocking to Mobile, Alabama, as the 2025 NFL Draft season officially kicks off.

And while the Senior Bowl never disappoints, this year's crop of athletes is one of the deepest ever, including the QB group, with five key names to watch during the week of festivities….

Jalen Milroe, Alabama Crimson Tide

Easly the most polarizing player in the group, as it stands right now, Milroe could hear his name called in the first round of the draft, or wait until late on day two before being selected.

There is no QB headed to Mobile (or in this class for that matter) which the dual-threat capability, physical traits and pedigree of Milroe. He and Riley Leonard will be the only QBs in attendance with CFP semifinal experience and Milroe possesses one of the livliest arms and best set of wheels from a QB in recent memory.

The questions with Milroe pertain to his ability to be a pure passer. When the going gets tough and your team needs you to march the field, executive, process, and deliver…On time, in rhythm and with no lapse in decision-making, can he do it?

That much is to be determined.

Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss

Dart is quickly rising as the process begins to unfold, with many in the media and league seeing him for what he is: A playmaker. He has underrated athletism, the ability to distribute within and outside of structure and he can stretch the field with his arm.

But Dart misses too many layups for the liking of NFL decision makers, and that's a compounding problem when you consider the amount of time he's spent in college at quality programs like USC and under the guidance of one of the best coaches in college via Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin.

We'll see if his putter can match his driver in Mobile.

Dillon Gabriel, Oregon

Another dual-threat QB, Gabriel has the luster of leading one of the best teams in the country all year, not to mention he's been known to make plays with his legs and arm at all three stops of his college career.

Teams will worry about Gabriel's overall ceiling. He's a more athletic Tua in a mobility sense (yes both are left handed) but he's not the same distributor that Tua has shown to be in the NFL and the arm talent also comes with a question mark.

Riley Leonard, Notre Dame

Fresh off an appearance in the national title game, Leonard has yet to show he can truly beat teams with his arm, but he has some of the best scrambling ability in the class and could be a late-round developmental prospect.

Taylor Elgersma, Wilfrid Laurier University

A Canadian passer who got a late call-up from the staff in Mobile, the fact that Elgersma hails from another nation makes him intriguing alone, with Tyler Forness of A to Z Sports Minnesota doing an excellent background and breakdown on the fascinating signal caller.

Overall, his arm talent is what's going to get him more looks. His arm strength isn't elite, but it's certainly capable to hit any throw you want. With that arm strength, he also can hit passes downfield with good accuracy.
