Strengths

Use of Hands: Ozzy Trapilo is a terrific technician, with accurate, independent hands and well-timed strike. He consistently knocks rushers around. Paired with his size and length, and rushers have a hard time getting around Trapilo as a result.

Play Strength: While Trapilo isn't the strongest mauler in this draft class, he still generates plenty of movement with ease at the point of attack. His strikes deliver punishing blows to defenders.

Anchor: For a taller tackle, it was a surprise to see how well Trapilo anchors. He plays with terrific bend that lets him transition into his anchor quickly and stymie rushers. When paired with his hands and play strength, finding a loss on his film against power was rare.

Intelligence: Trapilo just understands how to play the position, playing with a veterans' savvy with his grasp of fundamentals and technique. Whether it's handling stunts and blitzes with ease, or demonstrating the proper timing to release off of blocks and climb, Trapilo has time and time again demonstrated an understanding of the  fundamentals well above a college level.

Weaknesses

Below-average athleticism: The only downside to Trapilo's game is that he's just not all that special of a mover. He bends well, but he isn't quick climbing to the second level and his lateral agility is below-average. Normally, this suggests he should move inside to guard, but I can count the number of 6'7 guards on one hand.

Player Evaluation

It's easy to fall for Ozzy Trapilo's film. He is a giant of a man who overwhelms at the point of attack and plays with a veteran's savvy.

The strengths are easy to see. It's the glaring weakness that makes him tough to project. Ideally, he moves inside to guard because he does play with good enough bend and pad level to handle inside, but again, not a lot of 6'7 guards in the NFL.

I can see a path to success in the NFL at tackle though. Trapilo needs to land in a spot that will let him set aggressively and get the jump on pass rushers to make up for his comparative lack of athleticism. It's a boom-or-bust mentality, but there's a path there.

Player Comparison

Mike McGlinchey (Denver Broncos)

Trapilo isn't going in the first round, but the similarities stand out to me, based on their body tapes and play style. Trapilo and McGlinchey are similar builds and both require specific circumstances to work out at tackle in the NFL.
