Ryan Day is 70-10 as a head coach after winning his first National Championship and is sitting in a great spot. The Ohio State head coach posted an Instagram story over the weekend that showed where his focus is.

Day’s post from the sky above Ohio Stadium with the No. 210, which stood for how many days until Ohio State hosts Texas to open their 2025 season. The Buckeyes host the Longhorns on Aug. 30, which was 210 days from this past Saturday.
It will be a rematch of the Cotton Bowl in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff, where Ohio State prevailed 28-14. This time around in August, it will be two very different teams playing one another.
Will Howard and Quinn Ewers are both off to the NFL and it will be the start of the Arch Manning era for the Longhorns. Former five-star recruit Julian Sayin is the likely candidate to take over for the Buckeyes. Steve Sarkisian pushed off NFL rumors to maintain at Texas, where he has brought the Longhorns back to being a factor in contention.
Ohio State and Day will try to defend their National Championship next season and run things back. They will have a target on their back and that will start from Week 1 against the Longhorns, who will indeed have revenge on their mind.
