On Thursday, many members of the Kansas City Chiefs spoke to reporters about their upcoming Super Bowl LIX matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. And that included safety Justin Reid and cornerback Trent McDuffie.
However, Reid and McDuffie had to decide who was going to speak first. And that settled that in the best possible way…
Rock, Paper, Scissors.
After four rounds, Reid came out on top with rock over scissors and got to go first at the podium.
Reid has been in the league for a few more years than McDuffie, so that could have contributed to his win.
He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and then joined the Chiefs in 2022.
As for McDuffie, his entire professional career has been in Kansas City after being drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
But for the both of them, they are competing for their third Super Bowl.
So, it's great to see that they are this competitive with one another because hopefully that will translate to the field in New Orleans next weekend when the Chiefs look to make NFL history.
