The week ahead of the Sunday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks couldn't have started any better for the Green Bay Packers. Several impactful pieces are back at practice, including tight end Luke Musgrave.

The deep threat got injured against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4 and has not played since. He was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 6 and was eligible to return for a month, but his ankle injury was still an issue.

On Wednesday, the Packers finally opened his 21-day practice window. It doesn't mean he will play against the Seahawks on Sunday, but he has a shot. And the Packers have three weeks to activate him to the 53-man roster.

Running back MarShawn Lloyd (non-football illness) and guard Jordan Morgan (injured reserve) are still not available. Safety Javon Bullard, with a "week-to-week" ankle injury, hasn't been placed on IR but didn't practice either.

Other returns

Several other players who missed time lately for the Packers were also back at practice on Wednesday. The group includes cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring), safety Evan Williams (concussion), wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion), and cornerback Corey Ballentine (knee).

Williams and Doubs were still in the concussion protocol earlier this week, and they have to clear it by Sunday to be able to play. Doubs had gotten back at practice last week, but didn't get the clearance to face the Detroit Lions.

The mini-bye week was helpful for Green Bay, and the roster is closer to its full force for the final stretch of the regular season.
