Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer, a former Tennessee Vols standout, made one of the catches of the year on Thursday night in his team's win against the Denver Broncos.

After scoring a touchdown to go up 25-24 early in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles elected to go for two to push the lead to three.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert's pass to Palmer in the back of the end zone was a bit high, but the former Vol was able to knock the ball out of the air and somehow secure the catch while getting both feet down for the conversion.

That's as good as you can do it if you're a wide receiver.

The Chargers went on to win the game 34-27 after trailing 21-10 in the first half.

Palmer, who is in his fourth season with the Chargers, has 35 receptions for 543 yards and one touchdown in 14 games this season.
