The college football season might not even be over, but it's already 2025 NFL Mock Draft season. There have already been hundreds of mock drafts written throughout the course of the season. Here at A to Z Sports we've published a dozen in the last month already too. And here recently, Ole Miss players are finally starting to get a ton of the first round love that they deserve.
Just this week, our team of eight draft analysts selected four Ole Miss players inside the first 38 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. But then after I added the most recent mock draft data into the mix and reached out to some league contacts I myself couldn't help but select four Ole Miss Rebels inside round one in my latest draft.
Could this really happen? The numbers are trending towards a strong "yes".
Several Ole Miss stars have been rising up big boards all season long already, but after the Georgia game it seems that win finally got the attention of the masses. Just looking at our own mock draft data over the last month we have Walter Nolen, Tre Harris, and Princely Umanmielen inside the Top 32, with Jaxson Dart just on the outside looking in (as you can see in the post below).
However, it's not just A to Z Sports. NFLMockDraftDatabase.com, the premier site for pooling all mock draft data on the internet together, has all four of the aforementioned stars listed inside the Top 51 overall prospects and rising based on recent consensus information. And even cornerback Trey Amos looks in the mix to be a round two player as well.
If Jaxson Dart continues his dominance down the stretch he's almost certainly going to rise up into round one of many more mock drafts, and eventually the 2025 NFL Draft itself. Dart currently ranks first in passer rating, yards per play, adjusted yards per pass attempt, and finds himself inside the top five of most every single rate stat that quantifies quarterback quality in existence.
Princely Umanmielen has pass rush pressure and win rates above 18%, which puts him on par with the typical first round edge rushers. Walter Nolen ranks inside the top ten in pressures among all power conference defensive tackles and wreaks havoc against the run too. Tre Harris missed three games and still ranks third among all power conference players in receiving yards.
Ole Miss is completely stacked with first and second round NFL Draft talent this year and it's undeniable. It's no wonder they're still pushing towards a spot in the 12-Team College Football Playoff. Let's hope the dominance continues across the board. If Ole Miss does end up sending Jaxson Dart and company to the first round that could mean the world to future recruiting opportunities for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels.
