The Las Vegas Raiders did not win on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, making it seven straight losses for the Silver and black, but they played some good football at times. The side of the ball that comes to mind the most when talking about good football, has to be special teams, where they played great all game long.

Coming into this game, several young Raiders players were going to be needed if the team wanted a chance at a win. They were going to be without a starting cornerback and their two best running backs. So, some rookies, who have played special teams since waiting for their turn, were going to be needed.

And, when their name was called, some of them showed out. One of those was sixth-round running back from this last draft, rookie Dylan Laube. He had one of the biggest plays of the game. Sure, in the grand scheme of things, big plays don't really matter because the team lost. However, this play was huge.

Laube had a big kick return and was the first to do that in a long time.

RB Dylan Laube returns the kickoff 59 yards to the DEN 40-yard line. Laube's 59-yard kickoff return was the Raiders' longest kick return since a 72-yard return by Dwayne Harris on September 9, 2019, also against Denver.

The Raiders had a great day on special teams, and for Laube, that's just a great story. His first carry, in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, was a fumble. Then he was inactive for every game until this one. He gets a 59-yard return and is absolutely fired up. And that return led to a touchdown drive.

Unfortunately, the Raiders still fell to 2-9. They will now face the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons next.
