The early signing period is less than two weeks away and Ohio State along with other college programs around the country will be looking to officially lock up some recruitments.

Some recruitments are easier than others and once they’re verbally committed that is the end of it. Others, you have to worry about flipping throughout the process and you still have to recruit them even when committed.

One of Ohio State’s biggest flip worries is cornerback commit Na’eem Offord. Offord is a five-star player in the class of 2025 and ranked as the No. 2 cornerback in the class. Now, Offord will officially make his decision on signing day during the first week of December, according to On3.

Offord has been to Auburn and Oregon both and was back on the Tigers campus this past weekend for their big win over No. 13 Texas A&M. Offord was on a visit to Oregon when they defeated Ohio State earlier in the season.

"At Auburn, that was the wildest game I've been to. It was crazy, that was my first time rushing the field,” Offord said, via 247 Sports.

Offord was not originally expected to visit Auburn this past weekend, so that is some positive momentum for Hugh Freeze and the Tigers. The talented cornerback from Birmingham, Alabama has visited Auburn a total of four times this college season.

Ohio State has five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez committed for the 2025 class, so holding onto Offord would give them a high-level duo for this class. The only flip as of recent that has impacted the Buckeyes was defensive end Zahir Mathis, who reopened his recruitment last week.

The recruitment of Offord has been a long process and he has been committed to the Buckeyes since February. We are just a few days away from finding out if he will stick with the Buckeyes or land elsewhere.
