The Tennessee Vols made a solid addition to their 2025 recruiting class on Monday evening.

2025 three-star running back Daune Morris flipped his commitment from USC to Tennessee on Monday. The flip comes just a couple of days after Morris took an official visit to UT for the Vols' win against UTEP.

Morris, 5-foot-10/185 lbs from Murfreesboro, TN, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 29 athlete in the nation and the No. 16 player in the state of Tennessee.

Scouting report via 247Sports: "Versatile playmaker that exhibits good patience and vision at the (line of scrimmage) as a RB, showing the ability to let the play develop before shifting gears and hitting the accelerator. Sudden mover but flashes some burst at the second level. Appears to possess the long speed to outrun defenders in the open field. Shifty runner that navigates between the tackles with some wiggle and natural ability to make defenders in tight spaces."

Morris might not be a highly rated recruit, but he looks like a dynamic playmaker with an elite burst. The three-star running back also appears to be incredibly difficult to tackle.

The Vols are one of the top programs in the nation when it comes to creating explosive plays in the running game. We saw it with Jaylen Wright and we're currently seeing it with Dylan Sampson. And it won't be long before we see it with Morris.
