The Denver Broncos somehow have one of the best pass-blocking offensive lines in the league after being very poor in that area last year. Well, were they poor there, or did it have a lot to do with whoever was at quarterback taking too many sacks, running into sacks, and running out of the pocket when they weren't under pressure? I'll let you be the judge.
Regardless, this offensive line has played really well in pass pro. Could they be better? Of course, are they good in the run game? Not really.
But, they have been great in certain areas and they are making sure that the areas they are good in, are perfected as much as they can be. That's what you love to see from an offensive line.
And, with how well their offensive line has played, the Broncos have released a depth piece that they feel like they really don't need anymore.
According to Zac Stevens of DNVR, the Broncos are releasing OL Calvin Throckmorton, who has started 27 games in four years. According to PFF, Throckmorton has only played three offensive snaps for the Broncos this year and has a pass block grade of 62.1.
With the experience that he has, Throckmorton will likely be picked up by a team's practice squad here soon.
The Broncos play the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football next, before playing the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Kansas City Chiefs remaining.

Lofty praise for the rookie.
