The Kansas City Chiefs squeaked out a 19-17 win against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13.
This game saw the returns of star RB Isiah Pacheco and gritty DE Charles Omenihu. Both players seemed to perform well in their return from injury and should make the team better for the long haul. Even with the boost from Pacheco and Omenihu, there's a lot to improve on and learn from moving forward if this group is to make a run to Super Bowl LIX in the playoffs.
What exactly can we learn about the win from the snaps? Here’s a look at how the snaps came down in Week 13:
Snap counts via NFL Game Stats Information System

Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt have practically an even split
In his first game back from injury, Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (26) saw virtually the same number of snaps as Kareem Hunt (27). Both players had seven carries during the game, with Pacheco's 34-yard gain being the team's longest run of the year. Hunt did see more targets than Pacheco in the passing game, mostly on dump-offs and screen passes, but he didn't do much with them. Overall, expect a pretty even split in opportunities for the pair moving forward.
Charles Omenihu picks up right where he left off
Omenihu might not have seen a lot of production in the box score this week, but his presence was felt. He played 50% of the defensive snaps on Friday, outpacing both Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Joshua Uche by a good bit. Mike Danna and George Karlaftis still both saw more snaps than Omenihu in this one. His knee didn't appear to be a hindrance to him and it'll be interesting to see if he can continue to play such a high percentage of snaps for Kansas City.
Increased workload for Travis Kelce, Noah Gray
The Chiefs have three reserve tight ends on injured reserve right now and you saw that impact both Travis Kelce and Noah Gray's snaps this week. Kelce played 64 total snaps with 90% of the total offensive snaps, while Noah Gray was right behind him with the second most offensive snaps for a Chiefs skill player. It might also just point to the percentage of 12 personnel they ran against the Raiders this week.
Chiefs HC Andy Reid’s decision to bench Wanya Morris all but confirms suspicion about future LT replacement
The Kansas City Chiefs should have a new starter at the left tackle position in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
