The Chicago Bears' last game on the field against the Detroit Lions was a chippy one in more ways than one on Thanksgiving.

After coming back from a major first-half deficit, the Bears' late-game blunders returned, leading to another loss and the dismissal of head coach Matt Eberflus.

Following all the back and forth jabbering and scrappiness, the NFL decided to crack down on only one player from the Bears' defense.

Second-year cornerback Tyrique Stevenson was fined $19,697 for unnecessary roughness for a play during the fourth quarter. Interestingly enough, Stevenson wasn't even on the field for the play. He was on the sideline where Lions' wide receiver Jameson Williams was pushed out of bounds.

Something was said by Stevenson when Williams was returning to the field, leading to Williams tossing the ball back at Stevenson's face. Williams was hit by the officials with a 15-yard taunting penalty but no flags where thrown on Stevenson. However, on a closer look, Stevenson actually tripped Williams as he was going toward the Bears' bench. Hence, why he was fined and why Williams reacted the way that he did.

After the play, the Lions let Williams cool off before allowing him to return to the field. On the Lions' sideline, Lions' wide receiver coach Antwaan Randle El was seen talking with Williams about his reaction on the Bears' sideline that led to a costly penalty for the Lions.

After Saturday, Stevenson has now been fined twice this season for a total of $27,822. Stevenson was also fined in Week 2 for taunting. Stevenson's fine from Week 13's game was the largest fine dropped down on a Bears' defender for a single violation this season. Defensive end Darrell Taylor was fined a total of $23,634 in Week 8 for two separate unnecessary roughness violations.

Here's the total list of fines given out to Bears' players this season.
