If Wednesday was a concerning day in terms of practice attendance for the Green Bay Packers, the situation became much more positive on Thursday, especially along the offensive line.

Left guard Elgton Jenkins, handling a new glute injury, and center Josh Myers, with a wrist injury, both were back at practice after missing Wednesday's activity.

Jenkins has been kept out of Wednesday practices for several weeks. It's a combination of knee and glute injuries, but primarily veteran rest.

If one of them can't play, first-round rookie Jordan Morgan is the option, but it's trending in the right direction for Green Bay to have all their offensive linemen available against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Positive update

Another player who did not practice on Wednesday and returned to the field on Thursday is off-ball linebacker Quay Walker. He left the Houston Texans game early with a concussion, so the fact that he practiced is a signal that he is advancing in the protocol and has a shot at playing against the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt, who missed the last three games with an ankle injury, was limited on Wednesday and said he is on track to play.

The only non-participant on Thursday was cornerback Corey Ballentine, who has an ankle injury.

The Packers have Jaire Alexander, Keisean Nixon, Eric Stokes, and Carrington Valentine at cornerback on the 53-man roster as well. If Ballentine can't go, the team has also the option to elevate a corner from the practice squad — Robert Rochell (one elevation left), Kamal Hadden (two left), and seventh-round rookie Kalen King (three left) are the alternatives.

The other players listed on the injury report on Wednesday were cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin), defensive tackle Kenny Clark (toe), cornerback Keisean Nixon (hamstring), wide receiver Jayden Reed (ankle), and wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle), all as limited participants. Defensive tackle Colby Wooden was listed because of a knee issue, but practiced at full.
