There are multiple needs for the Minnesota Vikings going into the 2025 NFL Draft. For starters, cornerback, defensive tackle and running back are the three biggest ones they need to find a way to address those this offseason.

Now, they could also do that at the trade deadline with a high-end player or a lesser priced veteran. If they were to make a trade, it's likely a T.J. Hockenson type trade where they do some pick swaps to get a player they believe to be a major part of their future.

If they don't choose to make a trade at the deadline, the Vikings have a lot of options in the NFL Draft come this April.

Vikings go cornerback in latest NFL mock draft

Cornerback needs to be addressed and this is a good class to do so. A to Z Sports' Ryan Roberts has the Vikings doing just that at the 27th overall pick in Notre Dame's Benjamin Morrison.

There are some varying opinions on Morrison from the NFL, but he has the natural coverage instincts and ball skills that teams could love. It feels like the Vikings need cornerback help every year, and they finally get it here potentially, which should provide some playmaking upside on the back end if nothing else.

Morrison is a talented football player but one of the big things with him is injuries. He is out for the rest of the season with a hip injury that required surgery. Currently, it's not known if Morrison will be ready for the draft process in terms of testing.

If Morrison is ready to go, he would be a really interesting addition to the Vikings' cornerback room. A two-time All-American, Morrison can play in both man and zone coverage, something that Brian Flores likes to use. If they end up getting Morrison at 27th overall, it would be a good value.
