What to Watch for
It may seem hyperbolic given the point spread, but this game has quickly become the biggest of Kalen DeBoer's early Alabama tenure. Many are already skeptical of the coach following the inexcusable loss to Vandy, and his handling of the Malachi Moore situation.
Beyond that, Tide fans will want to see the defense show signs of life this week after letting up 40 points against the Commodores, even if DC Kane Womack said the team wasn't prepared for everything Vanderbilt showed in the game.
A statement win at home won't attest to last week's disaster, but it will quickly relieve some of the panic among the fanbase as the Tide aims to show that last Saturday in Nashville was an outlier and not a sign of what's to come.
