The Minnesota Vikings have a bye week in week six and are currently tied at the top of the NFL standings and are undisputedly at the top of the NFC standings with a 5-0 record.
After five games, the Vikings lead the league with a +63 point differential and DVOA, where they are on a historic run. With the bye week here, coming out of it in a successful manner is paramount.
Kevin O'Connell is undefeated out of the bye
One of the more important games in an NFL season is the game right after the bye week. Under head coach Kevin O'Connell, the Vikings are currently 2-0 coming out of the bye week.
- 2022 week 8: 34-26 win vs. Arizona Cardinals
- 2023 week 14: 3-0 win at Las Vegas Raiders

With the success the Vikings are currently riding, the expectation should be that O'Connell has them rolling coming out of the bye week and there is no reason why that won't continue.
