Fred Warner will look to help inspire the San Francisco 49ers to a third successive sweep of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

But the All-Pro linebacker was one of two San Francisco defenders to get bad news on the eve of a crucial NFC West clash.

Warner was hit with a $11,215 fine for a facemask penalty in the 49ers' dramatic 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That came on a wild final offensive series on which the 49ers were penalized four times but still managed to hold the Buccaneers to a game-tying field goal rather than a go-ahead touchdown.

The next play after the foul on Warner saw defensive tackle Maliek Collins called for roughing the passer on Baker Mayfield. Collins, however, was not fined.

There was another fine for the 49ers, though, with fullback Kyle Juszczyk docked $11,817 for an illegal low block in the first quarter.

San Francisco was still able to get the job done and improve to 5-4. Against the Seahawks, the 49ers can't afford to give a team they are favored to beat handily extra chances to narrow the gap with penalties that almost cost them last week.
