Michigan's season truly begins this week as they face off against a Top 5 team in the nation with the Texas Longhorns at home. Michigan's offense struggled immensely a week ago against the Fresno State Bulldogs, but Will Johnson's pick six and the stacked defense was good enough to propel the Wolverines to a 30-10 victory.

The matchup against the Texas Longhorns will be more difficult, and the margin for error will be a bit narrower, so Michigan will have to come ready to play. It seems that the team is going to stick with quarterback Davis Warren despite his struggles to even reach 4.5 yards per pass attempt. Hopefully the team's offensive efficiency takes a huge step forward because it's going be tough to maintain pace with Texas and their stacked set of skill position talents. Here's where you can watch and listen to this week's tough matchup.

Where to watch, stream, and listen to Michigan vs. Texas

Kickoff: 11 a.m. CT, Sept. 7; Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, MI

Where to watch: FOX Big Noon Kickoff

Stream: FuboTV, Hulu+Live TV, Sling, YouTube TV

Here are the announcers for the Michigan-Texas game:

Play-by-Play: Gus Johnson

If Gus Johnson is going to get to make one of his classic touchdown calls for Michigan, the offensive line is going to have to be on the same page with communication this week. Their run blocking was hugely problematic, and four of the five new starters allowed pressures throughout the game. Be watching for clear communication improvements or struggles early on. If the inexperienced offensive line struggles again, Michigan might be in trouble.

Colston Loveland was the star through the air last week with an impressive 87-yard performance, but the next leading receiving option had just 15 yards (Tyler Morris). Look for Michigan to get at least one or two more receiving options rolling early on in this game against Texas so the Longhorns' defense has to account for every playmaker on the field.

While the defense didn't have to do much to stop Fresno State's inept offense, it would be nice to see some higher impacts from both the defensive tackle stars Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant against Texas. Neither player even logged a pass rush pressure in Week 1. However, newcomer at linebacker Jaishawn Barham starred immediately making a couple key stops and bringing some pressures rushing the quarterback. The edge rusher tandem of Josaiah Stewart and Derrick Moore both racked up at least three pressures and multiple tackles on a small sample of snaps too.

Watch for all the key defensive stars to step up big time against Texas this week. They'll need to if Michigan wants to win, let alone keep this one close, as the Longhorns are more than a touchdown favorite as of this writing.
