The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to play at home for the first time in 2024, and they will face their best opponent yet.
Another 2-0 squad, the Los Angeles Chargers are coming to town in a marquee-early window contest on Sunday.
And while it seems like LAC dodged a bullet with star QB Justin Herbert, his health is still in question:
Herbert Expected to Play, Could be Limited vs. Steelers
"I must've just got rolled up," Herbert told reporters after Sunday's win against the Carolina Panthers. "Big pile, got rolled up. Walked off, was a little sore, taped it up, went in and got X-rays. I'll know more in the next couple of days, but was able to finish the game and keep moving around on it."
HC Jim Harbaugh confirmed that the X-rays on Herbert's ankle were negative and he foreshadowed his availability for Sunday when speaking to the media on Wednesday morning:
"Crystal ball? I expect him to [play] — he's getting better every day," Harbaugh said when asked if there was a possibility Herbert might not play in Pittsburgh. "Last night, we had a meeting with him and he's feeling much better and good today."
We'll see his official designation throughout the week and leading into Sunday, using that as a guide for his availability and overall functionality as a QB.
