Lamar Jackson is a tough dude to hit. Simply put, his Houdini-esque skills to disappear from one spot and appear on another are unparalleled in the NFL. You couldn't ask for better evidence of this than when Buffalo Bills' edge rusher Von Miller tried to bring him down only for him to… how can you even put it?

Only for him to do this:

At that point of the game, the Baltimore Ravens would go on to take a 17-point lead in the first half as Lamar continued to make his case for MVP. ESPN Analytics had the Bills' chances of winning the game at 6% as everything seemed lost.

But then, Buffalo channeled its 2020-self and brought a halt to the Ravens' offense. Just like they did in the playoffs, once more they shut out Lamar Jackson's offense.

To be fair, it wasn't easy to do that. In fact, their last offensive play came from the two-yard line when the Ravens went for it in fourth-and-goal to try to finish the Bills with a touchdown score.

Instead, from an empty formation, the Ravens would challenge the Bills' defense with a pass attempt and fail as Jordan Poyer came up big with an interception. That play from the All-Pro safety not only ended Baltimore's drive but kept Josh Allen's offense from having to drive down the field from their own two-yard line.

The best part about the play is the fact that Poyer wasn't really challenged. The guy was out there in the middle of the field fulfilling a different assignment. But as Shaq Lawson forced Lamar out of the pocket, Poyer sniffed out the play and closed in at lightning speed to make the play.

Lamar Jackson was hit twice and was sacked another three times during the game. Perhaps he's tough to hit but playing against this Bills' defense, man… he probably hates it. They've now shut him down in the second half twice now.

Let's see if he faces Buffalo again in January.
