Eagles' HC reveals what his role is during the trade deadline

The Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in all of football, which is something we have been preaching now for a few weeks. They have one of the best offenses, and defenses in the league, making them one of, if not the most complete team in the NFL.
But, that doesn't mean they won't try their hand at improving their team even more before the trade deadline. They do have a history of making deals at the deadline, as they have made one every year since 2017 besides 2020, so expect to see something.
Yeah, this team could improve in a few areas, but do they need to? Not really. But, it is the NFL, and you never know what could happen. Heck, I don't know if before the season started, anyone would have thought Christian McCaffrey would be traded, but here we are.
When making those trades, sometimes coaches are involved since they have the best grip on what the locker room is like and what players coincide with who. On Wednesday, head coach Nick Sirianni was asked if Howie Roseman talks to him during this time of the season.
"Sure, you know, we talk about everything," Sirianni said. "We will talk through everything and every situation, that is what is special about this building. That is what is great about Howie [Roseman], we just talk through everything. That is schedules, that is everything. That's stuff on football and the stuff in the front office. And so, we will talk through everything, watch things together, you know. I am in meetings most of the time, but we find time together to watch things together and we go through it."
Sirianni has deserved that role, in my opinion. He is in the locker room every day and every game, and he has just as much if not more knowledge on what would be best for the team than Roseman.
I love what he said about them doing everything together. Sirianni is already known as one of the better, young, football minds in the league, and Roseman is known for being one of the better general managers in the league, so I think the fit is good.
