Eagles, Hurts

The Philadelphia Eagles are now 8-0, and man does it feel good. I'm sure the fans are on an ultimate high, as Philadelphia Sports are at the highest they have ever been.

A lot of that too is because of Jalen Hurts, who is playing out of his mind. Now, he didn't start the last game great against the Texans, but he finished very well.

Hurts is looking like one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and is even an MVP candidate as things currently stand.

“I don’t think we’ve seen Jalen’s ceiling,” head coach Nick Sirianni said earlier this year. “I know we haven’t seen Jalen’s ceiling. He just continues to get better.”

And we haven't. He is still only getting better. A lot of people forget, this is his second full season as a starting quarterback.

“I think his mental makeup and his DNA and how he goes about his business, it’s so impressive. It’s second-to-none, it really is,” Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen said.

“If he continues on this trend, it’s going to be special. He’s doing a hell of a job right now and we gotta keep it going.”

And to make matters even better, he has accomplished something that no other Eagles quarterback has.

Jalen Hurts has won 11 straight regular-season games dating back to last season. The next highest is a three-way tie between Carson Wentz 9 (2017), Donovan McNabb (2003), and Norm Van Brocklin (1960).

If you ask me, that's elite company for an elite stats.

To make this even better, it doesn't seem like that streak will be broken any time soon either.
