Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen continues to break some of the NFL’s most impressive barriers. In Saturday night’s spectacular performance in a win over the Miami Dolphins, Allen finds himself in an exclusive group of dual-threat quarterbacks.
Allen vaulted himself back into the NFL’s MVP conversation with a statement win over Miami in conditions that do not cater top quarterback success.
Despite the wind and snow, Allen finished the game 25-of-40 passing (52.5%) for 304 yards and four touchdowns. He also led the team with 77 rushing yards on 10 carries, though he did lose a fumble.
Allen’s impressive outing marked just the third time in NFL history that a quarterback finished with 300+ passing yards, 75+ rushing yards, and four-plus passing touchdowns. The two others to do so were Michael Vick (2010) and Cam Newton (2015).
Another week and another impressive achievement from the Bills’ superstar signal caller. Allen’s individual effort in the win was enough for BetMGM to list him at third in the MVP race (+600), trailing Patrick Mahomes (-275) and Jalen Hurts (+450).
