When the Buffalo Bills take on the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night, they'll have to prepare to account for the Dolphins' top weapon and one of the biggest challenges NFL defenses can face nowadays.
That's because wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a shot at playing the game despite suffering an ankle injury on Sunday Night Football over the weekend.
Mike McDaniel called Hill's injury a "legitimate concern" and he told reporters earlier this week that the superstar wide receiver would get treatment on Tuesday.
However, he added the Dolphins believe it's something Hill can work through and he hasn't been ruled out for the game yet.
It's important to point out the NFL flexed the divisional showdown from Sunday to Saturday which gives Hill one fewer day to come back. As you can imagine, the schedule shake-up by the league might prove to be very beneficial for the Bills.
The Bills will probably say they want to face the best version of the Dolphins and that's probably true. But facing Hill is tough and there's no denying the race for the AFC East gets easier if he doesn't go this weekend.
Not only does the wide receiver have elite speed but he's elite in many other aspects of the position as well. That's why he's one of the favorites to win Offensive Player of the Year.
While the Bills are no strangers to Hill's play as they had a first-row seat to his abilities in multiple games against the Kansas City Chiefs, they were able to hold him to 33 receiving yards in two catches when they met the Dolphins in Week 3.
Now granted, that came at the expense of allowing over 100 yards to Jaylen Waddle, but that has been Hill's worst game of the season.
Ideally, the Bills are able to slow down Tyreek Hill on Sunday. We know they'll prepare assuming they'll face him.
Also, a quick note for the Bills to consider in their meetings this week; don't force any fumbles near Hill. I'm only half-joking with this.
