The NFL's hypocrisy was on full display during the playoffs and it involved the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City wide receiver Tyreek Hill was fined for flashing the peace sign at a Buffalo Bills player during the divisional round of the playoffs, despite no flag being thrown on the play.

Here's the play where Hill threw up the peace sign.

The fine is silly enough. But it's not surprising. The NFL has made it their mission to eliminate anything fun from the game.

Here's where the hypocrisy comes into play, though.

The official NFL online shop currently sells merchandise of Hill flashing the peace sign against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player in a 2020 matchup.

The NFL is profiting off Hill flashing peace signs in two ways — by fining him and by selling photos of it online.

If that's not hypocrisy, I don't know what is.
