The Tennessee Titans have two of the top 10 "bounce back candidates" in the NFL in 2022, according to CBS Sports.

Cody Benjamin, an NFL writer for CBS Sports, listed the top 10 "bounce back candidates" for the 2022 season and he listed running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Robert Woods.

From CBS Sports:

King Henry still hit 937 rushing yards in 2021 despite missing eight games, but as a former 2,000-yard back, he's capable of so much more. And he should be back to a heavy workload as the focal point of their offense, especially with QB Ryan Tannehill navigating a remodeled passing offense and under pressure to deliver on a playoff run.

Maybe one of the most severely underrated acquisitions of the year, Woods for more than four years was arguably the Rams' steadiest pass catcher. He doesn't match the explosiveness of A.J. Brown, since departed, but his savviness off the line should make him an early and frequent favorite of Ryan Tannehill, especially if Treylon Burks doesn't emerge immediately.

You really can't argue with either of those choices.

Henry was widely regarded as the best running back in the NFL after his historic 2022 season that saw him become the eighth member of the 2,000 rushing yard club.

The former Alabama standout isn't getting any younger (he turned 28 in January), but his size should allow him to hold up longer than most heavily used running backs. We'll see how Henry bounces back from his foot injury, but I think he's a player that should still be considered to be in the prime of his career.

As for Woods, I agree with Benjamin that trading for him was one of the most underrated moves of the offseason. Woods is recovering from a torn ACL (he should be good to go for the start of the regular season), which is likely why the Los Angeles Rams decided to sign Allen Robinson and move on from Woods while receiving almost nothing (a sixth-round pick) in return.

It was certainly a savvy move by the Titans to pick up Woods early in the offseason. It became an even better move after the AJ Brown contract situation went south and he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Woods caught 90 passes for 936 yards with Jared Goff as his quarterback in 2020. In 2019, he caught 90 passes for 1,134 yards. If he's healthy in 2022, there's no reason he can't achieve similar numbers while operating as Tennessee's de facto No. 1 wide receiver.
