The Cincinnati Bengals came into Week 6 needing a win to even their record at 3-3. It was a back-and-forth battle between the Bengals and the Saints in New Orleans, with the defending AFC champions pulling out a win in the final few minutes.

Cincinnati got the lead for good because of two men, quarterback Joe Burrow, and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase. Bengals' head coach, Zac Taylor, talked after the game about how beneficial it is to have players like Burrow and Chase in the most crucial moments.

"That’s what this league is about. You got to have great players," said Taylor.

In January 2020 as members of the LSU Tigers, Burrow and Chase won a national championship against the Clemson Tigers in the Superdome in New Orleans, and both had big-time showings. Burrow threw for 453 yards and five touchdowns. Two of them went to Chase who hauled in nine passes for 221 yards.

So, it was only fitting that Burrow and Chase would get the chance to produce magic down in the bayou on Sunday.

After a field goal pulled the Bengals to within two points of the Saints with just under four minutes left, their defense forced a three-and-out. It only took one play for Burrow to find Chase near the sideline, and the All-Pro receiver broke a tackle and ran past another defender for a 60-yard score with just under two minutes to play.

Burrow's 300-yard game was his second of the season and Chase went over 100 yards for the second time as well.

When the Bengals were on their run to the Super Bowl last season, Burrow and Chase hooked up for over 100 yards in each of the first two games in the playoffs, and another 89 in the big game. Simply put, these two know how to perform under the brightest lights and biggest stages.

With the Ravens losing to the Giants, the Bengals are now tied atop the AFC North and have two or their next three games at home.
