Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has missed the last two games with a hip injury.

The former LSU star won't be back on the field this weekend when the Bengals take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cincinnati, however, has a return date in mind for Chase.

According to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Bengals are hoping Chase can return in week 12 against the Tennessee Titans.

From ESPN:

The Bengals are hopeful Ja'Marr Chase, who has been recovering from a hip injury, can return for Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. Chase continues to rehab, so there's no definitive plan there yet, but the people I've talked to have circled that game as a potential relaunch for Chase. The Bengals' offense is feeling pretty good after posting 42 points and 464 yards on Carolina two weeks ago, and fresh off the bye, the Bengals are hoping for similar production vs. Pittsburgh this week.

Getting Chase back for the Titans game would be huge for the Bengals. That will be a pivotal game in the AFC playoff race and it's a game Cincy needs to win.

Tennessee held the Kansas City Chiefs to just 17 points in regulation earlier this month. They nearly won the game while starting rookie quarterback Malik Willis, but the Chiefs were able to get a field goal in overtime and secure the win.

The Titans' defense, though, is no joke. And the Bengals could certainly use Chase in that matchup to make things tougher on Tennessee's defensive approach.

Of course, who knows how close Chase will be to 100 percent. Still, having a less-than-100 percent Chase is better than no Chase at all.
