Derrick Henry Tennessee Titans franchise record rushing yards rush Indianapolis COlts Week 4 AFC South history

Titans running back Derrick Henry added to his legacy on Sunday in the team's Week 4 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.

Needing only 11 yards heading into the game to reach 7,000 career rushing yards, Henry was able to move into the history books in the first quarter of the ball game.

Henry is the fourth player in the Oilers/Titans franchise to reach this milestone. He joins an esteemed trio of running backs in Eddie George (10,009), Earl Campbell (8,574), and Chris Johnson (7,965).

It’s only fitting that this accomplishment comes against a hated divisional rival in the Colts.

With all of the noise heading into the season about Henry being over the hill and Colts RB Johnathan Taylor in line to take his crown, King Henry is playing like he has something to prove.

While the Colts currently have their hands full, it’s a bad sign for defensive coordinators across the NFL.
