Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver AJ Brown is still having issues with fans in Nashville.
Brown, who was traded by the Titans to the Philadelphia Eagles last month, has taken some heat on social media recently due to pulling out of a youth football camp in Nashville that was scheduled for this summer.
The former Ole Miss star pulled out of the camp after he was traded to the Eagles.
Fans with kids that were going to attend the camp were displeased with Brown's decision to pull out of the camp and they let him know about it on social media.
On Friday, Brown posted a long message on Twitter to address those fans.
Brown indicated that he's concerned about a confrontation with a fan happening at the camp and that's the main reason he pulled out.
"I'm so sorry I let down your kids and many others but I will not put myself in a place where my peace is going to be threatened by adults who feel a way because I was traded," wrote Brown.
Earlier this month, Brown teased that Titans superstar running back Derrick Henry could be appearing in his place at the camp. None of those details, however, have been confirmed.
Brown's exit from Nashville has been messy, to say the least. Titans fans will get their chance to cheer/boo Brown in December when Tennessee travels to Philly to take on the Eagles in a Week 13 matchup.
