2023 four-star offensive lineman Brycen Sanders released his top four schools this week and the Tennessee Vols made the cut, along with LSU, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.
Sanders, 6-foot-5/280 lbs from Chattanoga, TN (Baylor School), is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 16 interior offenisve lineman in the nation and the No. 6 player in the state of Tennessee.
The talented offensive lineman spoke to Rivals.com about his recruitment after dropping his top four. And he noted that he has a strong relatoonship with Vols head coach Josh Heupel and offenisve line coach Glen Elarbee.
"I have had a relationship with them for awhile now, I have a really good relationship with the offensive line coach (Glen) Elarbee and coach (Josh) Heupel," said Sanders. "They are the home state school. I have been there 4 or 5 times and really seen everything."
Rivals natonal recruiting analyst Eric Lammers thinks Tennessee could hold the edge for Sanders due to location and comfort level.
"Comfort level and location with Tennessee could be hard for the rest to overcome in the long run," wrote Lammers.
Sanders plans to make one more round of visits (Sanders will be at Tennessee this week) before making his decision in June.
