In December, it was reported that linebacker Jordan Allen was one of several Tennessee Vols listed in the NCAA transfer portal.

Allen, a former four-star recruit who was part of Jeremy Pruitt's inaugural recruiting class at Tennessee, is no longer listed in the transfer portal, according to a report from John Brice.

This would certainly seem to be good news for the Vols, considering Allen was expected to provide quality linebacker depth as a redshirt junior in 2019.

Allen didn't see much action as a newcomer in 2018, compiling only six tackles in his first season on Rocky Top.

But perhaps another off-season in the strength program will prime Allen to be a contributor next season.

Either way, there's no denying Allen is a talented kid. And Tennessee definitely isn't in a position to lose talented players.
