2024 four-star wide receiver Ny Carr revealed his top eight schools on Friday and the Tennessee Vols made the cut.

Arkansas, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, South Carolina, and USC also made Carr's top eight.

Carr, 6-foot/170 lbs from Moultrie, GA (Colquitt County), is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 9 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 10 player in the state of Georgia.

For now, it appears that Georgia and Michigan are the teams to beat for Carr.

But that could change over the next year.

Tennessee is quickly becoming a go-to destination for elite offensive players. Vols head coach Josh Heupel's high-scoring offense provides plenty of opportunities for wide receivers to shine.

That's why I think we're going to start seeing the Vols win some of these battles with Georgia for elite wide receivers — especially with five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava in the Tennessee commit column.

There's obviously a long way to go in the battle for Carr, but the Vols should be a legitimate threat to land the talented wide receiver.
